We’re nearing the end of Summer – are you feeling the shift? For some it’s back to school, end of vacations, etc. For those of us in the Housing & Real Estate sector we’re seeing a shift in mortgage rates, policy and inventory.

What does this mean to you?

Well, here in Nashville it means we can expect a couple things, one of which will be mortgage rates improving.

There are a lot of factors that can impact mortgage rates; inflation, job numbers, stock market conditions and indirectly Fed Rate hikes or decreases.

Right now it is a combination of almost all these factors causing the recent rate reductions. This is great news for buyers and sellers alike and will bring more activity to what has been a tentative market most of this past year.
