Jessica Bower, who will own the restaurant, confirmed Monday she has signed a lease in hopes of opening a “fun and unique” restaurant in the building.
“I purchased a home in Inglewood almost a year ago and instantly fell in love with the neighborhood. … I’ve worked in kitchens and in hospitality my whole life — this opportunity is just an extension of my interests in the lifestyle sector,” Bower said in an email.
If successful, the restaurant could provide a boost to Inglewood, which has seen notable redevelopment in recent years, though not at the pace of other parts of East Nashville.
Last November, Bower opened Steluta, a high-end boutique that sells clothing, jewelry and home decor at 1601-B Riverside Drive, not far from her restaurant’s planned home.
“I really feel that Inglewood is at the forefront of the East Nashville scene. … I’m proud to … continue to contribute to the growth of this neighborhood,” Bower said in the email.
